Dear Volunteer:
70s & 80s Music?  Love Craft Beer? Love to support the continued revitalization of Downtown Newberry?

Then, be a part of the fun that is Groove ‘n Brew! This street festival will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 1:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and features free live bands playing 70s & 80s music on an outdoor stage, karaoke, food trucks, games, vendors, and a line-up of all South Carolina Craft Beers.

The Ultimate Eagles Tribute, will headline inside the Ritz Theatre at 7:30 pm for an additional charge, with opening band J-E-T playing 70s/80s funk starting at 5:30 pm.

Volunteers are needed to help with the karaoke and costume contests, manning games, working the token tents, and at ID check. Volunteers will be asked to work at least 4 hour shifts and attend a briefing so they have all the latest info on the festival. The volunteer briefing will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 3 at the Ritz Theatre (1511 Main St. Newberry).

Volunteers will have access to a hospitality suite inside The Ritz where snacks, sodas, and water will be available throughout the day.

The Newberry Downtown Development Association is holding Groove ‘n Brew as a fundraiser to create a pool of funding to support entrepreneurship and other Downtown investments. Volunteering with Groove n’ Brew is not only a fun time, it is also means helping Downtown Newberry invest in the future.
